This is a new watercolour flower painting by me. It has been painted for :iconannemiekedw:, and done from a reference chosen by her. If you want to see absolutely wonderful pencil crayon creations definitely go to her page.

It is painted in Winsor and Newton transparent watercolours (with a tiny tiny amount of white gouache). The colours used are: Winsor Blue, Indigo, Burnt Umber, Payne's Grey, Alizarin Crimson, Rose Dore, Potter's Pink, Rose Madder Genuine, Winsor Orange, Sap Green, Hooker's Green, Naples Yellow, Winsor Yellow, Venetian Red, Sepia, and Perylene Violet. This is the order they are on my pallet in as well.

It is painted on Arches Watercolour Block, Cold Pressed, 100% Cotton, 300 LBS, 31 x 41 cm (12 x 16 in).

I will take a better picture outside as soon as the weather improves, currently we have -18C, 70 KM winds, and blowing snow (not great for photographing watercolour paintings outdoors). Once I have the picture taken this will be off to Annemieke, I sure hope she likes it.

*** Edit *** I braved the -40C windchill to take a better picture outside, so it is now updated.
