Completed winter 2007 Cat Lake - Panel Two is the right side of a diptych painted by me in the winter of 2007/2008. It was the first time I ever attempted to paint two separate scenes from the same location. The look of the sky in the background is due to an approaching winter storm about 200 kilometers south west of Nopiming Park, where Cat Lake is located.

Thank you so much for saying so, and for noticing those details. :-) Thank you for the :+fav: of it as well, it was the second of two paintings and the first diptych painting I ever did. I cleaned my palette before painting this panel and my oldest daughter pointed out that a "smart person" would have painted these two at the same time. Thanks again so much, and thank you for all of the :+fav:'s of my work, that is very much appreciated by me. That second panel proved quite difficult as I had finished the first panel and completely cleaned off my pallet. Everything had to be redone for the second panel. :-)
