23 x 30 cm (9 x 12 in)
Completed winter 2007

As the winter sun sets the shadows of the trees cast long shadows over the flats that lead to the Vermilion River. This is a scene from near Dauphin Manitoba, and close to the edge of Riding Mountain Park.

Thank you very much, I quite like that painting myself, especially the stalks sticking up and the snow gathering around them. Thank you very much for the :+fav: of it as well. :-)

Thank you so very much, I am very honored by that, and I really appreciate which of my work you chose to do that for. :-)

That one won a contest on dA for me, in fact the "kach' GIF icon was part of the prize package I received.

That's so cool! Actually, I have a question: what your nick name on DA mean?

My online name has always been kach (or Kach--> when I played video games). I used be a member on dA, and in 2007 I sold a company I owned and painted full time. In 2009 I decided to go back to work and couldn't get myself to paint at all shortly after that. I decided then to leave dA as I was not producing any work. This year I got back to painting, and as such rejoined da as "kach-back". :D
